On June 30, led by Executive President Song Ruilin, PhIRDA Delegation visited LEEM and the headquarters of Sanofi in Paris, France. In the morning, PhIRDA Delegation visited LEEM and met with Philippe Lamoureux, Director General of LEEM,  Pierre Savart, Director of International Operations, Christelle Marechal, Director of European Affairs and External Relations, Damien Dorizon, Head of Economic Affairs, Eric Bouteiller, Chairman of RDPAC and Senior Vice - President of Asia PC Operations of IPSEN Co., Ltd. , Benoit Colinot, Senior Trade Advisor of French Embassy in China, Olivier Fontaine, Director of European and International Affairs of Medicen Co., Ltd. , Chloe Evans, Head of France Biotech.

Executive President Song Ruilin and Philippe Lamoureux, Director-General of LEEM 

LEEM, a professional organization bringing together pharmaceutical companies, is at the heart of major health issues. In helping to advance responsible behavior within the healthcare system, Leem contributes, through an approach based on quality, safety and transparency, to reinforce confidence in medicines.

During the meeting, PhIRDA and LEEM made discussion on current situation of pharmaceutical market, medical and drugs policies and medical insurance system in China and France. Philippe Lamoureux proposed to establish a long-term communication mechanism between PhIRDA and LEEM, promoting bilateral collaboration on pharmaceutical industry.

In the afternoon, PhIRDA Delegation visited the headquarters of Sanofi and met with Matthieu Merlin, Vice-President of Business Development in China of Sanofi, Clotilde Jolivet, Head of Corporate Relations, Laure Lomo, Head of Market Access in France, Ren Weiwei, Associate Director of Corporate Affairs. During the meeting, Matthieu Merlin made a brief introduction on the development of Sanofi, development strategy and R & D; Laure Lomo gave a detailed speech on French medical and insurance regulations and systems. Representatives from PhIRDA and Sanofi made a warm discussion on pharmaceutical innovation environment.
